The wool industry Faliero Sarti has a long history at Campi Bisenzio in Tuscany, specialized, since its origin, in the production of fabrics for haute couture and prêt-à-porter with the use of fine natural fibres, such as wool, cashmere, angora, silk and linen. Production of fabrics alongside a large collection of scarves, shawls and foulards, have, for their quality and creativity, conquered the trendy boutiques of the world. For the 2015 Spring-Summer collection the yoke was used as a blank page on which to indulge their whims with pictorial fantasies, type action painting, illustrations and Japanese characters, patchwork figurines of dinosaurs, symphonies of delicate spring flowers and even a polychrome composition of balloons of all sports imaginable, creating an impression which is very pop. The scarf thus becomes an expression of non-verbal language of high iconic value.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
