In the heart of caliente Barcelona resides a small piece of romantic Paris. Madeleine mon Amour, a delicate little restaurant that specializes in the French, shell-shaped pastries, has opened in the Poble Nou quarter. The madelienes go beyond the classic variations to encompass inventive flavours such as green tea with hazelnuts, raspberries, and coconut with a chocolate centre. They also have savoury versions, like prosciutto, cheese, olive, tuna and salmon. The imagination has no limits; the chef invents new additions every week! Parisian taste has been applied to the interior as well; Madeleine mon Amour was designed by Egue y Seta. The general aesthetics reference the Belle Epoque, but the architects also commented that they were inspired by lingerie stores’ feminine environments. .

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
