Take a look around, learn how to embrace the extraordinary and the unusual, even if it is folded into the ordinary course of your day. This is the secret to seeing the world through the eyes of a child. Chronicling widespread beauty, despite our tendency of documenting the contrary, is a healthy way to face the world’s unexpected twists and turns. Knowing how to recognize the wonder of the places we pass, the work of an artist, and to pick objects that stand out due to their shape or manufacturing amongst the myriad of products we are presented, requires that our consciousness be nurtured, keeping it vibrant and vigilant, constantly ready for what is waiting ‘round the bend.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
