Even shoes are bejewelled. Of course this is nothing new; look at the famous Venetian Caovilla, jewels of the footwear world, featuring the Swarovski dusted soles that are the brand’s trademark, or the jewelled buckles on Roger Vivier’s square-toed pumps. The combination of jewels and men’s classic oxfords in midnight blue, black and white eco-leather, is however, quite unusual. Their lines are aggressive, with colourful rubber soles resembling tank wheels, and patterned, marbled, polka dot uppers and embroidered inserts. The oxfords flaunt showy ornaments: laces are replaced with pearl or zirconia piercings, or gold gypsy rings.
