The new brand “BONOTTOEDITIONS”, born from the rib of the homonymous Venetian textile company, debuted at Maison & Objet, the Paris fair for interior design, September edition. The project, founded by Cristiano Seganfreddo, art director of the brand, together with Giovanni and Lorenzo Bonotto running the company, makes use of uninhibited creativity of the young designer Matteo Cibic, who, Venetian himself, created a total design of interiors based on the use of the same patterned fabric, available in various weights and finishes, covering walls, sofas, pillows ….
Matteo designed everything from satin brass lamps to tables, chairs, screens, sideboards, mirrors, sofas and armchairs. The modern shapes, purposely rounded, acquire a vaguely retro flavour that contributes to suggesting the atmosphere of a traditional living room, through the intensive use of decorated fabric, great protagonist of the project.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
