With her slender hands Osanna Visconti has realized in the laboratory furnishings in burnished bronze, characterized by plain forms and virtuous surface treatments. The table tops are made of thick weavings that seem stolen from straw mats, or scratched by thin engraved patterns, arranged radially. The slender legs of the furnishings sometimes have knots akin to those found in bamboo, and sometimes are as supple as blades of grass. The seats seem like solidified embroidery, they are so thin. The unusual talent of Osanna is expressed in her ability to give a metallic material ductility and the lightness of fabric. From this expertise is born a delicate and essential collection that combines the roughness of the handmade with the lightness of the lines. Osanna’s collection is distributed by the Milanese gallery Nilufar which exhibits it in the lived-in atmosphere within its ample space in via Lancetti in Milan.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
