It is located on the terrace of the historic building of Enel in Milan, and that in itself makes it cool. It is signed by Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared2, which is now fashionable, and what is more, it is not hard to come across VIP couples (the beautiful Belen with her husband Stefano de Martino are on their homeground here). A framework which is already rich with the addition of chef Elio Sironi, who has travelled the world far and wide, two swimming pools surrounded by cabanas, and a 360 ° view of Milan’s modern skyline on Porta Nuova and Varesine. Together with the owners of Dsquared2, the project involved the architectural studio Storage and the interior design studio Dimore for the realization of the concept and accessories, as well as the “hosts” Marco Civitelli, Edoardo Grassi and Luca Pardini. To try: sesame seared scallops and radicchio, eggs in the pan with white truffle spinach and toasted pecorino cheese and, of course, chocolate-orange fondue.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
