With the jewellery series Dangerous Luxury the Campana brothers draw once again on Brazilian culture, revealing their special interpretation of luxury, the ability to translate materials and ethnic Brazilian motifs into precious global artifacts.
From a conversation between the Roman jeweller Fabio Salini with Fernando and Humberto Campana was born a jewellery collection for the Roman Gallery O. This collection reproduces on a small-scale and with precious materials the expressive alphabet of the Brazilian brothers. The series of eight pieces, two necklaces, two bracelets, three pairs of earrings and a head ornament, plays on the audacious mix of poor natural materials such as bamboo, capim dourado (Syngonanthus nitens), a rare golden Brazilian grass on the verge of extinction, and noble materials, such as rose gold and brown diamonds.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
