“If I become a ‘leftover’ eat me,” is the slogan of the project launched by Comieco (Consortium for the recovery and recycling of cellulose packaging) together with Slowfood and a group of design and illustrators, who have created a series of original containers for leftovers, unusual in both shape and decoration. The artistic directors of the project, Michele De Lucchi and Andrea Kerbaker, have involved in the design of the containers Giulio Iacchetti, Matteo Ragni with Chiara Moreschi and for the illustrations Olimpia Zagnoli, Beppe Giacobbe and Guido Scarabattolo. Colourful, imaginative, unusual in size and shapes, the doggy bag copyright inaugurates a new type of portable container that renders creative the humble gesture ‘anti waste’ of take-home leftovers.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
