For next winter fashion rediscovers pink. The classic sheath dress, as required by Prada, will not be black, but candy pink. Bialetti has also adapted it, launching a “Pink limited edition” to ‘dress’ coffeemakers, pans and food processors in pink. If proof were needed, the “Pink limited Edition” is a further confirmation of the overwhelming power of fashion that has managed to infect even the most diehard standards, such as the Bialetti mocha, icon of Italian style.
The pink version of the Mocha and food mixers is promoted by the company as “an autumn in feminine style”. The “Angels” or “Devils of the hearth”, from the title of an exhibition of 2006 (sponsored by Cosmit at the Milan Triennale and curated by Luigi Settembrini, who examines the new freedoms of women), forerunner of the contemporary “Great Mother,” are to the fore in the artistic and productive scene, and hopefully, they will also come to the fore of both the intellectual and political scene, perhaps dressed in pink and equipped with “Pink limited edition Bialetti”!

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
