They dedicate themselves to horticultural design and are poetically called Dossofiorito (flowery mound). They are a couple of designer/gardeners who made a name for themselves in 2014 at the Milan Salone del Mobile’s Satellite Hall thanks to an innovative idea. To capture distracted eyes they created plant pots, fitted with brass holders, equipped with mirrors and magnifying glasses. Leaves and flowers are reflected and multiplied and disclose themselves magnified by the lenses in every detail, offering more levels of interpretation.

After exhibiting their potted plants in Milan they transferred them to a florist in Montmartre during the Parisian Maison&Objet Fair. The project, possessing a special formal elegance and a meticulous attention to detail, becomes a precious object with an assured decorative effect.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
