Angelica Frullini made her cabinetry debut with a collection of single wooden pieces, handmade by a woodworking master from Brianza. The aesthetic is a joyful combination of modern functionality and classical forms. Every detail has been carefully studied, and each is destined for a singular purpose, reintroducing the concept of furnishing that has a specific use. Domestic rituals are no longer abandoned, and instead of large cabinets, there is a vanity, a bar cart, and a suit rack.

The collection has leather trim with upholstery work, and includes three pieces. “The Butler” is a writing desk resembling a telematics workstation, complete with a coin tray and magazine rack. “The Lady” is a unisex suit rack with an adjustable mirror and built-in vanity. “The Barman” is a bar cart that hosts glasses, bottles, and cocktail supplies. All three products can be customized and are available in different finishes and types of wood. The revival of this type of specialized furnishing is a triumph over generic cabinets that erase any sign of everyday life and render interiors sterile.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
