The exhibition, held at Palazzo Morando in Milan in Via Gesù, sponsored by the City of Milan, produced by the Memory & Project Association, curated by Maria Cannella, Mariateresa Chirico and Anty Pansera and staged by Alejandro Ruiz, is a point of encounter between the world of jewellery and that of food, revealing how the latter was and is the inspiration for original creations of high decorative value. The history of jewellery and precious creations of the imagination is nourished in the form of fruits and vegetables and there are even fish and shellfish. The curators have selected curious creations from various eras, showcasing a varied repertoire, which invites you to smile and which shows how the decorative imagination knows boundaries of no kind. As always, in the selection there has been some oversight, among them the Florentine Marina Calamai who for many years has created tasty pastry rings for sale by Luisa Via Roma in Florence.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
