Library is a newly designed club in the West End of London, close to Trafalgar Square. Behind a small door on the street hides a world of spaces for reading, studying and socializing, environments suitable for organizing events, an experimental drinks bar, the restaurant St. Luke’s Kitchen and six private bedrooms.
Members of the Library belong to the local literary and cultural community, but the setting is not as formal and dignified as you would expect in such a circle of “old concept”. Here environments, designed by Marc Peridis and Studio 16 Greek Street, expertly mix contemporary and colourful pieces, and classic furniture that looks back to Victorian times. The owner of the Library, Ronald Ndoro along with a group of friends, said: “I wanted to create a home for the vibrant literary community. Due to our location, we will blend that crowd with the theatre world and the pioneering design community of the capital and beyond.”

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
