In the somewhat basic interiors, created by designer Philippe Di Méo, qualified staff and experts in rare essences lead customers along a true olfactory journey between old fashioned eau de cologne, floral fragrances and sensual perfumes. In the small and cosy shop nothing is conceded to superfluity. Flasks and bottles are lined up on shelves of polished brass and are reflected in the mirror behind them, creating a kaleidoscopic effect. Like a small ‘Pandora’s’ box that protects the most precious jewels, the Liquides bar à parfums looks out onto the road with an elegant black showcase and a golden sign. Très chic.
Paris is considered rightfully the world capital of high range perfumery. This primacy is constantly confirmed by the opening of laboratories and independent retailers, such as Liquides bars à parfums in the Marais.
The brainchild of David Frossard, the founder of Différentes Latitude, a distributor of sought-after brands of high perfumery, the Liquides bar à parfums is the very place for those who want to find the perfect perfume through a real sensory experience.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
