Inside of Mega Mall in Bucharest, Romania, one can find the ever-playful Lollypop. It is a colourful coffee bar, designed by the local studio, Creativ Interior Studio, known for their originality. Multi-coloured chairs and tufted couches are available for clients in a playful space that is filled with quotes. The focus of the space is the original wallpaper, tailored to cover every bit of the walls. Behind the bar there is a Greek colonnade, followed by two figures dressed in medieval costume, reminiscent of a fairy tale. There are women of the Court, knights and princesses, some holding lollypops in their hands. The entrance also has been inspired by the ancient world. A gigantic design of Amore and Psyche, by Canova, and a black and white illustration of lovers in flight, greet guests. Another classical presence are the chandeliers that light up the room, defining a space where fantasy and relaxation become one.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
