The dark season is over. There are various signs of a turnaround. Among them it is worth mentioning, for the originality of its design, the knitwear collection by Carlo Volpi at its debut in Super, the project by Pitti Immagine and Fiera Milano dedicated to accessories and to women’s prêt à porter.
The oversize jerseys are palettes for graphic experiments in which any contamination is allowed. The lines, in different shades, play with the houndstooth, and the ribbed knit with the ‘rice grain’ stitch…. The shades range from twilight colours such as grey and purple, to those lively colours such as fuchsia and red. The virtuosity of workmanship and oversize dimensions give to the polychrome creations the look of primeval armour.
