It is most likely because of his travels in the lands of the East and for his being a nomad of creativity that Andrea Anastasio proves capable of renewing comfort. This renewal harks back to our origins when living under the crescent moon. For the nomadic peoples the carpet was much more than a carpet; it marked their confines of living whilst piles of pillows and quilts constituted the furniture. Andrea creates soft chairs, stacking and playing at building with pillows, with a lightness that is used with playing cards to build teetering castles. Inspired by oriental archetypes of living, he creates modern ways of seating in the western world, these thanks to full and bright fabric colours played in sharp contrasts. He, once again, shows how you can create great poetry with only the bare essentials.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
