An ancient palace on Via Cesare Correnti 14 hosted the Ladies&Gentlemen collective, produced by Secondome and P-S consultant. The Roman artistic design gallery, Secondome, featured two collections in this space; “Una” was designed by Stefano Marolla, and inaugurated his collaboration with the gallery. The wood wardrobe and bar cart, made by hand, were inspired by the drapery used by Gian Lorenzo Bernini in his sculptures. Giorgia Zanellato, the young designer for Fabrica, presented “Awaiting”, a series of golden-bronze furniture covered in multi-patterned velvet, designed by the artist Coralla Maiuri. The “Awaiting” collection presents classic shapes, including a dressing screen, table, and bench, revealing the already trending return towards the classical; the use of golden bronze and patterned velvet are tempered by design, giving way for a contemporary reinvention of the classical.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
