Tai Missoni, the knitwear colorist, carries the brand’s signature polychrome into the Missoni Home collection, that edition after edition, drapes interiors in stripes and florals in a wide range of colours. Tai’s legacy lives on in the Maga di Gallarate exhibition, skillfully and passionately curated by Alessandro Castiglioni, which reveals Missoni to be a refined painter. Each season, the Missoni Home Collection’s joyful, exuberant image, makes them immediately recognizable, and brings a vibrant air to any interior. The Home collection keeps Tai’s special legacy alive; the athlete turned knitwear designer founded the brand with his wife, Rosita. Missoni’s first runway show was at Milan’s Solari swimming pool in 1968.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world.
