Architecture in glass

Once again Prada proposes a double show: that which is both playful and full of fantasy; namely the spring/summer 2016 collection, also accompanied by women’s fashion, and that in a space and form of presentation, completely re-thought by Oma. No longer an endless building, but a sort of maze playing on the contrast of a plain concrete floor with the transparency of flat and circular scenes in frosted and rippled glass, bordered by rough metal, the former descending from the ceiling until they almost touch the ground, creating winding paths for the presentation. The interaction of fashion with the architecture suggests an artistic interpretation of collections, whilst the intensive use of glass invites you to reflect on its transparency.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
