On the occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2015, the historic Venetian brand of precious fabrics Rubelli opened a new showroom in Milan in Via Fatebenefratelli, devoted to the home furnishings collection, which marks the entry of Rubelli into the furniture industry. The first set of furniture, comprising about forty pieces, including furniture, upholstered furniture, chairs and tables, has been designed by Luca Scacchetti, known for its unique take on the classic, capable of elegant contamination between the severity of design and the eccentricity of decoration. The star of the collection is upholstered furniture, with a rich and varied assortment. The materials are precious, to be a perfect counterpoint to the historical Rubelli collection. The illustrated catalogue with light watercolours by Scacchetti brings back the classic design by hand.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
