The embroidery on the heel expand into flowering volutes on the wedges, which also feature rainbow stripes or inlay reminiscent of fine woodworking. The flat sandals reveal a refined skill of interwoven leather, while laced shoes with a rope sole feature hemp uppers with multi-coloured floral embroidery. The decoration of the apparel applied to the shoes seems to come directly from Salvatore Ferragamo’s historical models, the shoemaker of dreams, who in his vast repertoire boasts fine examples of woven and embroidered shoes.
