Nilufar_Nina_Yashar_Gallery_1

With a dinner for 150 people, Nina Yashar, the inspired art dealer of Nilufar on Via della Spiga, inaugurated her new space in via Lancetti. This furniture warehouse has become, after a careful restoration by CLS architects studio, a display area for contemporary and vintage artistic furnishings. The pieces signed by some of the leading names in international design, such as Martino Gamper, Andrea Branzi, Nucleo, along with classics by Gio Ponti and through to artistic bronze works by Osanna Visconti, to name some of the many authors who Nina welcomes, took a new breath in this large space. The industrial structure and the use of raw concrete seem to take away the dust of ancient times, tuning vintage to a contemporary registry.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
