Frëims Condesa is Mexico’s first restaurant to offer waffle sandwiches and a large selection of artisan coffee. The Mexico city locale is inside a home from the 1920’s, restored by the studio, Arqmov Workshop. The changes respected the building’s original state, and allowed for many aspects, including the windows, pavement, wood paneling, and internal subdivisions, to be left in tact. Passing through the main entrance, the juice bar, and the café area with a bookshop, one finds themselves in a small, private dining area with exposed brick walls. The garden has a series of wooden benches and rows of light bulbs hanging from its external walls, reflecting in a small pond left there in memory of the fountain that used bubble in this little courtyard. The Frëims Condesa is not only ideal for a good meal, but perfect for small parties, a book presentation, or acoustic music.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
