Essential style has a vaguely Art Deco flavour, with a black and white floor, dark wood furnishings and large windows with shutters that open out onto the most chic street of the British capital. The menu, in addition to the inevitable ‘tea at five’ includes traditional courses such as lobster with chips – accompanied by seasonal proposals prepared with local products from selected farms.
Burberry has its palatial building at 121 Regent Street, London. Within a ‘palace’ dating back to 1820 the brand, synonymous with British style, Burberry has created its flagship store with a multilevel shop, with large spaces for events (here the latest men’s fashion show was held) and a stage for concerts. More recently we must add to all this, a stylish and intimate cafe, Thomas’s. Located in the new area dedicated to gifts, it bears the name of its founder Thomas Burberry.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
