The collection by Fratelli Tagliabue, specialized in woodworking, is the result of the combination created by Ferruccio Laviani, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, design and Emmemobili. Virtuous furniture originates with a strong decorative imprint. Leveraging the craftsmanship of the company, Ferruccio Laviani comes out from the strict boundaries of good design to explore hybrid territories, giving free rein to his multifaceted imagination. From his narrative vocation containers with large geometric inserts of colour are born, similar to constructivist works, vivid houndstooth closets in pastel colours, made with a painstaking inlay;
tables finished in precious woods, such as Sucupira and Canaletto walnut, with a slim profile that with a continuous twist of the legs becomes flat. With the 2015 collect ion, Emmemobili reiterates how the artisan virtuosity at the service of uninhibited creativity always manages to evoke new surprises.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
